Giovanni Musso, Chief Executive Officer of IREM S.p.A., took part in the 2026 Economic Forum organised in Bucharest by Confindustria Romania and F.P.I.A.R. The event brought together institutions, businesses, finance and innovation stakeholders to discuss the industrial and energy future of Europe. The Forum was also attended by the President of Confindustria Romania, Eng. Andrea Allocco, the Italian Ambassador to Bucharest, Laura Aghillare, and the Chairman of SIMEST, Vittorio De Pedys.
Musso participated in the proceedings in his capacity as Presidential Advisor of Confindustria Romania with responsibility for Oil & Gas, a role confirmed for the 2026–2029 term by President Andrea Allocco. The Forum, entitled “Powered by Europe. Open to the World” and hosted at the JW Marriott Bucharest, addressed strategic topics including industrial competitiveness, energy autonomy, technological innovation and international cooperation.
“It was an important opportunity for discussion on Europe’s energy independence and industrial resilience in an increasingly complex scenario. Working as a system is essential to support the growth of businesses in Europe,” Musso stated. “Romania remains an important market for IREM within its internationalisation strategy, and I would like to thank the Italian Ambassador, Dr Laura Aghillare, for the interest shown in IREM’s future investments and projects in Romania.”
The event further confirms IREM’s international role and its commitment to taking part in key forums dedicated to the future of industry and energy.
