The “Welding Quality and Non-Destructive Testing Technician” course, one of the permanent Academy programs developed by IREM S.p.A. in collaboration with Randstad and Rotary, has successfully concluded at the company’s headquarters.
Young graduates and diploma holders completed a 247-hour training program combining both technical and soft skills development, including quality control, welding, non-destructive testing (NDT), IT, and English language training. The course was designed to prepare highly skilled professionals for roles that are increasingly in demand across national and international industrial projects.
Training activities were led by IREM managers and industry professionals, who shared the expertise and practical experience gained through the Group’s major projects worldwide.
"We strongly believe in education and in the development of human capital," said CEO Giovanni Musso." Today, IREM is involved in new projects in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Egypt, and Italy, and we need qualified professionals to support our international growth."
Having trained more than 200 people in recent years, the IREM Academy continues to represent a tangible investment in young talent, employment, and skills development, helping create new career opportunities while supporting the company’s long-term growth and continuity.
A particularly noteworthy aspect is that all participants come from the Province of Siracusa. As a result, the training programme and the subsequent employment opportunities will make a significant contribution to improving the quality of life within the local community, generating a positive social impact across the territory.
