Nine young people, all university graduates or with an educational background in accounting, began the first administrative training course offered by IREM’s permanent Academy this morning. The free programme, organised in partnership with Randstad Italia and with the support of Rotary Club Siracusa, includes 249 hours of training and will run until the end of November. The most promising participants will have the opportunity to be hired by the company.
“We invest in young people because developing skills is essential to ensuring the company’s continuity and growth,” said IREM CEO Giovanni Musso.
With most of its production and revenue generated in international markets, IREM needs skilled professionals capable of supporting the activities of its international business units, which operate as true “companies within a company”.
“Our business units must be able to operate autonomously and respond to the specific requirements of individual projects,” Musso continued. “That is why technical skills alone are not enough: we also need administrative professionals who can support business processes across the different environments in which we operate.”
The new course expands the activities of IREM’s permanent Academy, which for years has been building bridges between training and employment, supporting generational renewal and developing skills that benefit both the company and the local community.
